i know its hard to tell right now but is it going to be a fail. the last mmo i was exicted about was warhammer online which i REALLY got exited over but i REALLY hated it. the whole thing was like a cheap arathi basin. Anyways my question is will this game be a fail, is there any hope? Because after seeing warhammer online i think that wow will remain king for a long long...long time. I really hope this game works out tho.Is star wars the old republic mmo going to be a fail?
Bioware's games:
Shattered Steel
Baldur's Gate
MDK2
Baldur's Gate 2 %26amp; Throne of Bhaal
Neverwinter Nights and expansions
Knights of the old Republic
Jade Empire
MAss Effect
Sonic Chronicles
Bioware knows RPGs. The Old Republic will be a spiritual successor to the Kights of the Old Republic series...I seriously doubt it will fail.
Not many games live up to the hype, and considering this game's hype is building up, I wouldn't be surprised if it fell below expectations. That being said, LucasArts isn't known form making a bad star wars game (The Force Unleashed was decent). We'll just have to wait and see, but if I were you, I wouldn't get too excited over it or you'll end up being disappointed, most likely. Is star wars the old republic mmo going to be a fail?
After being with WoW for so long, I'm sick of that. I -hope- Star wars will be really good. After all that I've seen, and the details put into it (like all of the voice overs), it seems like it might be awesome. We shall see. :)
I think it'll be win. Every game I've played that Bioware made I've liked. Try playing the orginial Knights of the Old Republic it'll probably give you a pretty good idea of what it'll be like. Mass Effect is another great Bioware game.Is star wars the old republic mmo going to be a fail?
Look at http://mmohut.com/ for a directory of free MMOs and MMORPGs. If you'd prefer to see a massive 'list' with reviews / exp rate / playerbase and such check out http://mmohut.com/gamelist
I use that site to find new games to play / read up on ones I heard about. Good resource.
