would be good for games like warhammer, the sims , tombraider and such? i play mostly mmos so performance is a must. What laptop is good for mmo gaming?
I recommend a HP dv5t. Go to hp.com and customize it with the nvidia 512 MB and your other specs. I bet you can get it built and shipped for around $1000. I have one and I love it. I play warhammer all the time on it (nvidia 512 MB dedicated, dual core, 4 GB ram). It's nice.
I also recommend a laptop cooler ($50) to extend life and prevent shutdowns due to heat (when you game for hours at a time).
I have one for sale for $699 below but It won't probably play Warhammer.
PS what server do you play on? I'm Order on Phoenix Throne (Shadow Warrior).
the laptop isnt what matters its the processor speed.
Any of the Duo's or Core 2's are great! What laptop is good for mmo gaming?
Anything that isnt a MAC, PC's are better for online gamers
my personal best is H.P. it has everything u want for ur games like processor speed ( core2 duo ) huge ram and great graphic card. and the main advantage is its affordable price. if u want a laptop with great looks and all above mentioned features and r willing to pay extra then go for sony vaio .
i can only give u advice rest is in ur own hands. thanku....What laptop is good for mmo gaming?
alienware...
A computer best for that kind of stuff, the processor actually doesn't matter that much. As long as it is dual-core, and at 2.0 GHz or higher, that's fine. What really matters is the RAM Size (1.5 GB or more), and the video card. While a dedicated card is preferred (Geforce 9500), you can use anything nVidia or ATI that has been made within 1.5 years. For nvidia, if it is a card that is lower any number lower than 7500, do NOT buy it. Trust me on this. for ATI, anything will work pretty much. 3000 or higher will do fine. If you want to save a little cash, try to stick with AMD/ATI. For more performance, go for nVidia %26amp; Intel. And remember - look at the reviews. This can tell you a LOT. :D Hope I helped!
Oh, and go on newegg - they have great deals, and all the specs.
